Edge-Lit signs are made by engraving or etching an image onto the reverse side of a clear piece of acrylic plastic. An edge is highly polished to allow illumination of the engraved image via multiple LEDs. This produces a dramatic, eye-catching sign that gives the illusion of a suspended, glowing image.  Can be small, or large. Generally used indoors.
